As guests of
the Peoples Republic of China, all participants will be expected
to conduct themselves in a manner beyond reproach. Students who
intend to participate in CommunicAsian programs must sign the
Code of Conduct Agreement in order to be enrolled in the
program.
1.
Students must attend every class and complete homework on time.
2.
Students are expected to respect teachers, peers and other
people. You shall not harass, threaten, intimidate, harm or
insult anyone.
3.
No fights or violent acts or illegal activities under both China
and U.S. law.
4.
Keep the school property and others’ personal property safe and
free from harm.
5.
Use polite language and gestures.
6.
Individual students are NOT allowed to leave the campus without
prior approval from a CommunicAsian staff member.
7.
Parents/visitors shall sign the leave-for-absent sheet before
taking students out of campus.
8.
No smoking, drinking alcohol, or use of illegal drugs is
allowed.
9.
Students shall sleep in their assigned rooms and beds.
10.
At 10:00 pm students shall be in their rooms and shall not be
disruptive to other students.
11.
There shall be absolutely no room visits between boys and girls
after 9:00pm. Boys and girls are prohibited from having close
physical contact during the program. Sexual behavior is
absolutely prohibited.
12.
Students cannot gather in the dorm rooms. A social room on the
same floor as the dorms is provided for gathering.
13.
For obvious safety reasons, students shall not use candles or
any other flammable devices in the dormitories.
14.
No pets allowed.
15.
Meal
cards are only supposed to be used for purchasing meals, food,
snacks and drinks. If a student used the meal card for
purchasing apparel, entertainment goods, or any other products,
your meal card will be confiscated.
16.
Minor violations of the rules may result in a verbal
warning. Serious violations will be reported to the students
parent/guardian immediately, and may result in dismissal from
the program.
Consequences
In
the event of a dismissal, CommunicAsian will notify the parent(s)
or Legal Guardian and make arrangements for the dismissed
student’s return flight back to their home country and will
accompany the student to the airport. However, CommunicAsian
will not escort the dismissed student on the flight.
The
parent(s) or Legal Guardian shall make arrangements for all
subsequent travels in the home country. No portion of tuition or
fees will be refunded to a dismissed student.
Parents
or guardians are responsible for any additional expense occurred as
a result of the student’s dismissal.
CommunicAsian reserves the right at any time to dismiss and to
disqualify anyone from the program or any portion of the program
when such persons conduct is detrimental to the program’s normal
operation or the rights, welfare or enjoyment of other participants.
Refunds of tuition or fees will not be given under such
circumstances.
