During her extensive business trips to Asia, Ms. Chou realized the business world of tomorrow would bring different cultures together at an ever-increasing rate.

She understood the importance of preparing individuals for the pending expectations and needs of the global community. With two children of her own, she saw a critical need to integrate their education in the United States with their heritage and culture of China.

CommunicAsian specializes in reaching out to young children, ages 7-17. Assimilation through cultural integration involves a focused, three (3) week immersion program in which participants travel to China to learn the culture with hands-on experience. A skillful mixture of academics and field activity allows the student to apply what he/she has learned in the classroom to the real life of China. In addition to the classroom atmosphere, participants will visit and interact with local residents.

Students will enjoy a total of 10 academic days and visit to home stay while exploring Xi’an, Shaolin Temple and vicinity. Included is a 5-day retreat to Beijing and vicinity while learning of its importance in the history and culture of China.
